Service Projects:
Baby Blessings Project - providing new layette items to St.
Joseph's
Hospital Pre-Natal Clinic in Providence. We were awarded an $8,000
2010-2011 Soroptimist Grant for Women and Girls to expand items to
include blankets, winter clothing, bottles, and diapers.
Clothing Boutique Project - providing used clothes and items
for women and their children who frequent the various clinics at St.
Joseph's Hospital in Providence.
Fresh 'N Up Totes - We supply 35 totes filled
with personal care products each month to a homeless shelter, the
Women's Shelter at Crossroads RI in Providence. We won a
$4,500 2009-2010 Soroptimist Grant for Women and Girls to fund this,
and continue to do so.
